Skaterboy Slideman

The game is inspired by the mini game in spectre knight were your characters climbs up a large tower by using a variety of different jumping and sliding mechanics. This game takes the concept of climbing up a tower and add our own twist to the game's setting characters and mechanics in game. The game will be a 2D using pixel art and animations and will feature different enemy varieties throughout each stage in the tower to make increasingly difficult to reach the top and complete the level.

My Role: This was a mini project that our group had created throughout our third trimester in SAE Qantm. I was one of three programmers that mainly focused on the movement of the player. Myself and James worked together in the movement to get the mechanics in placed such as climbing on wall, sliding to attack enemies and bouncing on top of them. I also worked with our Game Designer Jessica in creating sprites and having them animated in a 2D fashion.
